(New York - 2011-11-07) Windows Phone 7.5 (Codename «Mango») ist die Kernaussage zu den Focus Smartphones. Sie sind - vor allem für Microsoft - der greifbare Beweis, dass nicht nur Nokia auf das neue Betriebssystem setzt. Beide Modelle werden in den USA von AT&T angeboten. Nach dem HTC Radar 4G (siehe MTW 0379) sind das die nächsten Smartphones mit Windows Phone 7.5 am US-Markt.
Samsung Focus Flash soll um U$ 49,99 angeboten werden. Es hat ein 3,7 Zoll Super AMOLED Display, eine Kamera mit 5 Megapixel und läuft mit einem 1,4 GHz Prozessor.
Samsung Focus S wird als Nachfolger des Samsung Focus - einst ebenfalls ein Windows-Smartphone - bezeichnet. Es soll US$ 199,99 kosten und bietet ein 4,3 Zoll Super AMOLED Display, einen 1,4 GHz Prozessor sowie eine Kamera mit 8 Megapixel. Dazu ist es nur 8,55 Millimeter dick. (Bilder: Samsung)
